One really quick check - Windows Defender could be slowing down MyEclipse on startup.

We have code in our recent releases that should detect this situation for you, and fix it, but there is a chance that the user may have missed it. Both the MyEclipse folder and the workspace folder must be excluded from Windows defender scanning, otherwise startup times can be very slow, just like the user described. Details are in this blog:
